BERTA BRIDE - FROYLE PARK
I had the privilege of photographing Tara Mary Alice’s beautifully curated styled shoot at Froyle Park — a vision brought to life entirely by Tara, who handpicked the dream team to execute her artistry.
When Tara revealed that gowns by Berta, sourced from The Wedding Club Official, would be the centrepiece, I couldn’t contain my excitement. It was my very first time photographing a Berta design, and the anticipation of capturing such iconic gowns filled me with an energy only true artistry brings.
With three stunning models and only a matter of hours, the bridal beauty team — hair and makeup artists who had already been working tirelessly since dawn — sculpted and styled each look with immaculate detail. Tara entrusted me with complete creative freedom to interpret her vision, and for me, that is where the magic happens. Having the space to imagine, to shape light and movement, to weave narrative into imagery, is what transforms a styled shoot into a living story.
I personally paired each model with the gown I felt best suited her energy and presence. This process of styling, of translating an imagined vision into reality, has always been instinctive for me. Styled shoots are not only a platform for experimentation — they are laboratories of artistry, where I can trial compositions, emotions, and directions that later translate seamlessly into photographing real brides and couples. They allow me to test light, mood, and gesture in ways that become second nature when capturing authentic love stories.
What I adore most is discovering the individuality within every subject. Each model, each bride, carries her own aura — a unique rhythm that guides how I frame her within the setting. To see three women, each wearing a different Berta masterpiece, styled with contrasting hair and makeup, gave me the chance to shift scenes, play with contrasts, and create three entirely distinct editorials within one day. From opulent interiors to sunlit exteriors, every shot became a canvas where fashion, emotion, and imagination converged
