I’m a deeply intimate photographer — none of that “look at the camera and smile” kind of thing.

Editorial is woven into everything I do. It’s more than a style; it’s part of who I am. My images are inspired by high fashion, the books that changed me, the people I’ve loved, the films that held me, and the music I can’t stop listening to. Every story I tell comes from that place — cinematic, poetic, and real.

My direction is intentional yet freeing: the perfect balance between composed and spontaneous.

Viola’s World Weddings has loved films from early teen years, watching endless romcoms. Why not book my assistant for the day to capture natural, real and editorial moments? Film footage is filmed by my assistant, who has been trained by Violette, directed by Violette on the day of your special event and now has the creative mind of what the Viola’s World brand represents. The lucky thing for you is not only do I have my assistant trained in my style, but all edits and artistry are designed and edited by me, so you can still have the VIOLA’S WORLD EXPERIENCE in film too!

Do you believe in love at first sight?
Some of you might think that love takes time. It grows stronger as you share more laughs, as you learn more about each other, and as you start to adore all of your partner's little unique features.
On the flip side, if you have experienced love at first sight, then you'll know that it is this indescribable, magical feeling you get within the first few seconds of seeing someone.
I'd say that my love for photography had elements of both. I knew it was love as soon as I picked up my first camera, but the more pictures I take, the deeper my love grows.
My love started (with that incredible, magical feeling) when I got my first camera at age 9 years old. My camera took 35mm film. Yes, one of those where you had to load in the film, point and shoot, then get the pictures developed at Boots. None of this instant digital stuff where you can delete the ones you don't like! I loved getting the negatives developed, though. It was so exciting to see how the pictures would turn out.
It was a real occasion getting the pictures back out and looking through them. I loved seeing everyone's face as they flicked through the images.
I remember seeing my grandad's face as he laughed at a picture of himself while on holiday. It really was a beautiful and priceless moment, and I'd say that's when my love for photography started to grow into something more than I’m able to describe. Being able to make someone else feel happy by looking at my pictures is something I’ll always love.
As time went by, I learnt just how inspiring photography could be.
Photos not only capture images but also our feelings. Whether that is love, happiness, or sadness, I love looking back at a photo and re-feeling those same emotions that I felt at the time. You know it was real. It actually happened. The day you married the love of your life, your graduation, your first car, your travels, your children walking for the first time, the inside jokes with your family, you start dating someone and spending time with them, where hours feel like minutes, and you’re starting to make memories with this person who you care about. Or perhaps the pictures remind you of a friend you’ve not seen in a while, a relative you’ve not spoken to for ages, or even a loved one who has passed.
Whatever it is, your pictures and videos will always be there, even if the people in them aren’t.
